Three Meat Roast - Christmas Treat

Cooking a 3 meat roast

Pre-heat your oven to 190 °C (180°C fan assisted) roast at 20mins per lb +20 mins. A typical 3 meat roast will weigh around 5lbs and will take 2 hours to cook. Loosely cover with foil and remove the foil 20 mins before the end of the cooking time. By using the chef's roasting bag your roast will cook in its own juices.


If you are using a meat thermometer the minimum core temperature should be 70°C.


Allow to rest for 20 minutes and carve. With no bones to negotiate this is easy to carve and certain to WOW your guests.


For a 10lb roast increase the cooking time to about 3hours 40 minutes and leave to rest for around 30 to 40 minutes.
